Rock slide closes Zion National Park highway

The Zion-Mount Carmel Highway through Zion National Park is closed due to a rock slide.
The highway is the main route through the middle of the park, connecting Springdale and Mt. Carmel Junction. A stream of heavy sand and rock debris was falling late Friday afternoon near the west tunnel entrance [READ MORE HERE]
